Clotrimazole - kills the yeast and fungus by making holes in their cell membranes thus leaking their essential contents. This destroys the fungus and treats the infection.

Use for:

Fungal and yeast Infections on the skin and vaginal areas.Including Thrush (Candida)
Sweat rash under armpit, in the groin or under the folds of the skin like the breasts.
Also used for nappy rash, Athletes foot and Ringworm.

Vaginal Thrush - Clotrimazole 1% cream will only treat external infection. For internal infection of the vagina, Clotrimazole pessaries in combination with the cream work better. Ensure that the sexual partner is also treated as they can be asymptomatic carriers.

Athletes Foot - The fungus thrives under warm and moist environment. Use Clotrimazole cream to kill the fungus. Keeping the area dry and cool using a medicated talcum powder like Lanacaine medicated Powder.

For application to the skin: apply the cream thinly and evenly to the affected area 2-3 times daily and gently rub in. Use the cream for at least two weeks for Candida (thrush) infections or one month for other infections. Before applying to feet, thoroughly wash and dry the skin, especially between the toes. Wash your hands after using the cream to avoid transferring it to the eyes or other parts of the body. Do not use if you are allergic to any of the ingredients. If you are pregnant or intend to become pregnant, check with your pharmacist before using this cream. See leaflet for further formation. Store in a cool dry place.

Benzyl Alcohol, Polysorbate 60, Cetyl Esters Wax, Cetostearyl Alcohol, Octyldodecanol, Sorbitan Monostearate And Purified Water.

The cream contains: Clotrimazole BP 1% w/w.
