Co-codamol 8mg/500mg tablets 32's

Relief of mild to moderate pain including headache, migraine, toothache, period pains, muscle pains and backache. It can also relieve symptoms of rheumatic pains, influenza and colds.

Oral use. Adults and children over 12 years: One to two tablets to be swallowed with water. Maximum dose: 8 tablets (4.0g of paracetamol and 64mg of codeine) in any 24 hour period in divided doses. Children under 12 years: Do not give to children under 12 years of age, except on the advice of a doctor. The dose should not be taken more frequently than every four hours and not more than 4 times in any 24 hour period. If you need to use this medicine for more than three days at a time, see your doctor or pharmacist. If symptoms persist consult your doctor.

Each white, round tablet contains: Paracetamol 500mg and Codeine Phosphate 8.0mg.

Do not exceed the stated dose. Warnings: immediate medical advice should be sought in the event of an overdose, even if you feel well do not take with any other paracetamol-containing products. Taking codeine regularly for a long time can lead to addiction. Taking a painkiller for headaches too often or for too long can make them worse. Keep all medicines out of the sight and reach of children. See enclosed leaflet for further information before use. Storage instructions: Do not store above 25°C. Store in the original package in order to protect from light.
