Co-codamol effervescent tablets 8/500 mg 32's

For the treatment of pain, including muscular and rheumatic pains, headache, migraine, neuralgia, toothache, sore throat, period pains, aches and pains, discomfort associated with influenza, feverishness and feverish colds.

Dosage: Adults and children over 12 years: One or two tablets dissolved in water every 4 to 6 hours to a maximum of 8 tablets daily. Children 6-12 years: 1/2 to 1 tablet dissolved in water every 4 to 6 hours to a maximum of 4 daily doses. The tablets are not scored and care should be taken to halve them accurately. Discard the unused half of the tablet. Dissolve tablets in at least half a glass of water before taking.

Also contains Aspartame.

Each tablet contains 438 mg (19.1 millimoles) of Sodium.

Keep all medicines out of the reach of children. Do not store above 25°C. Store in the original package. For oral use. Please read the enclosed leaflet. Warnings: Not recommended for children under 6 years. If symptoms persist, consult your doctor. Do not exceed the stated dose. Contains paracetamol. Do not take with any other paracetamol-containing products. Immediate medical advice should be sought in the event of an overdose even if you feel well. If you need to use this medicine for more than 3 days at a time, see your doctor or pharmacist. Taking codeine regularly for a long time can lead to addiction. Taking a painkiller for headaches too often or for too long can make them worse.
