Hirudoid Gel 50g

Uses: For the treatment of superficial thrombophlebitis (inflammation of the veins) and the soothing relief of bruising and haematoma (deep bruising).

Directions for use: Read the enclosed leaflet. Pierce tube seal with spiked top of cap. Adults, the elderly and children over 5 years: Unless otherwise directed, apply 2-6 inches (5-15 cm) as a thin layer to the affected area up to four times a day. Do not exceed the stated dose. If the condition persists or worsens, consult your doctor. Store below 25°C. For external use only.

Isopropyl alcohol, perfume oil, polyacrylic acid, propylene glycol, sodium hydroxide, purified water.

Heparinoid 0.3%w/w (equiv. 25,000 units per 100g) in a colorless gel base.

Precautions: Not to be used on large areas of skin such as the back, cut or grazed skin, sensitive areas such as the mouth, eyes or ano- genital region. Not to be used on children under 5 years. Do not use if allergic to any of the ingredients. Keep medicines out of the reach of children.
