For those of you who have a busy lifestyle or difficulty getting out of the house, this service is for you. We are able to collect prescriptions from your surgery on your behalf. The service costs nothing to set up, all we require is for you to complete a registration form and drop in you current repeat paper and we'll do the rest. "The Morning After Pill"
Our pharmacists are accredited to provide EHC completely free of charge without the need to book an appointment (although there may be a short wait at busy times). The consultation is provided in a private area and all gathered information is 100% confidential. You have up to 72 hours to get treatment after unprotected intercourse, however, it is advisable to see the pharmacist as soon as you can. The sooner the treatment is taken the more effective it is Please note that you cannot collect or purchase EHC on somebody else's behalf.

A quick and reliable test is performed and verifed by our pharmacist. We recommend using a mid-stream sample taken first thing in the morning if within 3 days late of period. Service costs £3.99

A FREE non-invasive screening service is carried out privately and confidentially on site. Samples are sent off for testing and you can choose whether to receive results discretely by post, email or text message.

FRESH START
At the Long Eaton branch we are running the Erewash Smoking Cessation scheme 'Fresh Start'. Eight of our staff are full Fresh Start accredited consultants. The scheme allows you to work with a consultant once a week for 8 weeks and they will provide you with a product for Nicotine Replacement Therapy. The scheme is free of charge for clients exempt from NHS prescription charges, however there is a standard prescription charge for NRT products supplied to non-exempt clients.

Before you can use this scheme you must register with the pharmacy as you would a doctor's surgery. It costs nothing to register. Once registered you can call in whenever you suffer with any of the ailments above. If you are exempt from prescription charges treatment will be free.
Please note that we are only available to supply treatments according to strict guidelines. Therefore in some circumstances we may not be able to provide treatment, however we can give you a referral to you doctor regarding the ailment.

We stock a small range of gluten free food and sweets to buy.
We can order in special goods (such as gluten and wheat free products) for patients who have prescriptions for special dietary items.

This scheme provides a unique opportunity to discuss your medication with the pharmacist free of charge. This is useful in identifying problems which may be arising from the use of your medication. Consultations are free of charge and usually take no longer than 15 minutes. You will be given a copy of the report, as will your GP.
