Lyspyl aciclovir 5% cold sore cream

Please read the enclosed leaflet before you start to use this medicine. Lypsyl Aciclovir 5% Cold Sore Cream is for the topical treatment of cold sores of lips and face.

Directions: Adults and children: Apply a thin film of cream to the infected and surrounding skin areas five times daily at intervals of approximately 4 hours for five days. If the infection is not healed, you can continue the treatment for 5 more days. If your cold sore gets worse or is not healed within 10 days see your doctor. Do not exceed the stated dose.

The other ingredients are Arlatone 983S, Dimethicone, Cetyl Alcohol, Liquid Paraffin, White Soft Paraffin, Propylene Glycol and Purified Water.

Contains 5 % w/w Aciclovir.

Consult your doctor or pharmacist before use if your cold sore is very severe, you are pregnant or breastfeeding, or you know your immune system is weakened. Do not use in the eyes, in the mouth or on the genitals. Keep medicines out of the reach and sight of children. Discard 6 weeks after opening. For external (topical) use only. Do not store above 25°C. Do not refrigerate.
