You have heart or prostate problems, high blood pressure (particularly due to a tumour near the kidney), diabetes, glaucoma, an overactive thyroid or circulation problems (eg.Raynauld's Phenomenon). You are taking other decongestant medicines. You are taking Monoamine Oxidase Inhibitors (for depression) or have taken them within the last 14 days. You are pregnant or breast-feeding. Talk your pharmacist or doctor if: You are taking any heart medicines (especially digoxin), drugs for circulation, beta-blockers, tricyclic antidepressants or enzyme inducing drugs (e.g. some antibiotics and epilepsy treatments). Avoid alcohol. If symptoms do not go away talk to your doctor. This medicine may cause fast heart rate, changes in heart rhythm, palpitations; high blood pressure, nausea, vomiting, headache and occasionally urine retention in males.
